CHRISTMAS, TURNING BACK, AND WHAT LIES AHEAD

Christmas day was beautiful. We knew we were turning back, so I guess that made us all the more cheerful. Guru somehow knew he was going back home too, because nothing seemed to stop him as he guided us back towards Lupathana.

We were almost at our destination, when it started raining, and I slipped on a rock surface, coming down hard on my right knee. The pain was shocking, and it was with great discomfort that we managed to get to the campsite.
